Tininess, richness in detail and ingenuity are synonyms for the art of the Spanish engraving artist Noemí Rafel. We have featured her on several occasions and she keeps surprising with resourceful approaches of her works. The present work represents an Asturian knife from Alberto Villar, encased by the sheath of Jose Quercur and engraved by Noemí Rafel who decided on a motif stemming from Paleolithic Art. The depicted cave painting derives from the Cave “La Covaciella” in Asturias, Spain. Again, it’s an outstanding example of Noemí’s exquisite art.
